Do any of these sound like you?
I buy what's on sale. I want to save money.
Who of us doesn’t want a “great deal”? Once I left a health food store with a quart of Aloe vera juice. It was a good deal and Aloe vera is good for burns, right? The truth is I had no idea why I bought Aloe vera juice, but I forced myself to drink it. We have a saying that “the most expensive vitamins are the ones that don’t work or don’t make a difference.”
Here’s something to think about. If you were told you needed a pace maker, you wouldn’t ask for the one on sale or say, “I want the cheapest one you have!” You would want to know you were getting something of value and one that you knew would work with a proven track record.
Here’s what we offer – not just products, but a plan! Imagine that!! A plan…a wellness plan! We plan what to do if we are sick, but it makes more sense to plan what to do to stay well.
In our BETTER HEALTH GUIDE read about “Plan A = A Plan.”
I'm sick...I'm tired...I'm tired of being sick and tired...
Being tired of being sick and tired is a good thing. It’s like being cold enough to get out of bed to get a blanket. Being motivated to change what you are doing is the first step to real change. The truth is “if we keep doing what we are doing, we will get what we’ve got!”
When you are ready, open our BETTER HEALTH GUIDE and see how you CAN regain your energy and a zest for living!
You better cut the pizza in four pieces, I'm not hungry enough to eat six.
Yogi Berra is a master at quip! You could also apply this one to chocolate cake, brownies or you name it. If you look at the serving size on high calorie foods, you realize there is a whole day’s worth of calories in that carton of ice cream and I just ate it!!
There is a better way that will leave you feeling healthy, satisfied and in control! We’re here to help you!
In our BETTER HEALTH GUIDE, see The Triple A Threat to Better Health.
Health is 90 percent mental and the other half is physical.
How true is that! We borrowed Yogi Berra’s quip about baseball to make it ours; because in many ways, health starts with the way we think. Are you thinking….
- I’m WAAAAYYY too young to be this sick.
- If I don’t lose this weight, I’m going to scream!!!
- It’s hopeless! I can’t exercise or eat better. I just have no willpower or discipline.
- Where are the Oreos??? I’m having a bad day!
- I stopped weighing years ago, because it’s better if I don’t think about it.
Yes, we can read your mind; because at some point, we have thought the very same thing! More about The Twin Approach and how we can relate to you and your journey in our BETTER HEALTH GUIDE.
At noon I want to take a nap. At midnight I'm wide awake.
What’s up with that? How does that happen? It has been proven that sleep heals, rejuvenates and is a perfect medicine – we have to have it; but preferably not while sitting at our desk or driving a car! Don’t rely on energy drinks to make it through the day…that’s just not a good plan.
We have a better approach – quality sleep at the right time!

The doctors tell me that they can't find anything wrong with me.
Doctors diagnose and treat illness and disease. That’s their job and that’s what they do. But what if they can’t find a diagnosis. What if they run a lot of tests that all come back negative? That is good, except it doesn’t explain why you are having certain symptoms.
Doctors may say they want to “watch you” and tell you to come back in six months to a year…unless you get worse, then, of course, come back right away. HUH? Many times in six months to a year, you are now sick enough to take a medication or have surgery!
We understand this dilemma and this process. We understand the frustration.

I can only remember half of what I know.
We all want to think clearly and stay sharp. The term “senior moment” is often used in jest; but “it’s funny until it’s not.” If you are having trouble remembering things, there are certain questions to ask to determine the source of the problem so that you can take appropriate action.
1. Am I just too plain busy to remember everything I need to do?
2. Have I not slept well and my brain is foggy from exhaustion or lack of sleep? 3. Am I thinking about something else that is weighing heavily on my heart and my mind?
3. Am I consistently forgetting things that eventually come to my mind?
4. Do I have a family history of dementia or Alzheimer’s?
Here’s good news. We live in a day when the brain has become the topic of discussion and research. As Baby Boomers age, we are discovering how important certain preventive measures can be to slow the aging process. Learn more in how a Healthy Mind is one of the 4 KEYS TO BETTER HEALTH.
